Benevolence

Confucianism advocates the principles that the benevolent loves others;treat with the reverence due to age the elders in your own family, so that the elders in the families of others shall be similarly treated, and treat with the kindness due to youth the young in your own family, so that the young in the families of others shall be similarly treated. The doctrine of loyalty and forbearance upheld by Confucius is that if you yourself desire standing, then help others get standing, and

do not do to others what you would not have them do to you.

People-orientation

Confucianism advocates the people-oriented thinking that the people are the foundation of the state and government should be run by means of virtue.

Reliability

Confucianism advocates the principle that people should match words to deeds and a promise is weightier than one thousand bars of gold. What truly is within will be manifested without.

Justice

Confucianism advocates the fair and equitable principle that a gentleman takes justice as men’s essence, and upholds that people should think about justice in the face of profits.

Harmony

Confucianism holds the belief that gentlemen seek harmony but not uniformity, values the principle that all the people of the world are brothers, and calls for harmonious family, good neighborliness, and peace among all nations.

Consensus

Confucius believed that a just cause should be pursued for common good in the society of the future.
